As part of the Delta family, you have access to Medicare coverage options available only through the Insurance Trust for Delta Retirees (ITDR). Our group plans offer comprehensive benefits, prescription drug coverage, and the flexibility to choose the coverage that best fits your needs.

Enrolling in ITDR Coverage Is Easy

Whether you’re new to Medicare or already enrolled, we’re here to help make the process simple. Follow the steps below to prepare for enrollment, review your coverage options, and enroll with confidence.

Step 1: Prepare for Enrollment

Before enrolling, gather the following information:

• Date of birth of the former Delta employee
• Nine-digit Delta PPR number of the former Delta employee, or the Social Security number of the former Delta employee and/or spouse
• Medicare ID number, if already received
• Bank account and routing number, if you wish to have premiums automatically deducted

If you are approaching Medicare eligibility, be sure to apply for Medicare Parts A and B. You may begin the ITDR enrollment process while waiting to receive your Medicare ID number and provide it once it becomes available.

What Happens Next?

After you complete your enrollment online or by phone, you will receive a confirmation of coverage. Once your enrollment has been verified, a welcome packet will be mailed to your primary mailing address.

You should receive your welcome packet within 10 to 14 business days.

If you are turning age 65 and enroll more than 45 days before your coverage effective date, your welcome packet will be mailed closer to the month your coverage begins.
