On Friday September 8th, ITDR’s administrator, Mercer, learned that they had processed incorrect premium transactions for certain retirees’ accounts for September insurance premiums. Premiums deducted may have been incorrect, or not deducted at all. This issue impacted about 6% of ITDR members.
Mercer is working with their processing company to reverse the transactions and credit back any money that was debited to these accounts, by the end of this week. Next week they will process a corrected September premium. If a member should incur a bank charge or fee due to this error, they will reimburse for it.
